outstanding musical performance, setting the standards by which many other
upright pianos are measured. Note that some cheaper pianos are ‘lowright’, not ‘upright’, thus a little smaller and not so great soundwise.

Beware! Recon Piano Buyers
Re-Polished Strings > Some pianos had their strings polished. While this may look good to the eyes if you take a peek into the piano, this will cause the piano sound quality suffer, a LOT.
Heater > Did you know all pianos have heaters? Yes, maybe you probably would think being in Malaysia, there’s no use for a heater. Not true, you’ll need a heater to maintain the humidity of the piano and enabling a more stable tuning.
Exhausted Strings > By default, the piano is tuned to 440khz, technically. We’re talking about the frequencies of sound here. Some old pianos, have old & hardened strings, and can only be tuned up to 437khz, or you might risk snapped strings. Might sound fine, you think, but try playing the piano together with another instrument, and sigh when you find out you both can’t sync!
