The first pop-fusion orchestra in Penang,Malaysia, playing songs of today’s radio hits, and not songs of yesteryears. How does that sound? Interesting? More pertaining to the century we are living in?
At the Cat Studio, the premier music school in Penang, our mission for the orchestra is to create the love for music, and to encourage students to take part into playing together in a group. Musicians who plays alone and never played music in a group would never feel the joy and that sense of achievement all of us had experienced.
We think that it would be a great music curricular for people and students who play music. And that means any music! Doesn’t matter if you’re a rocker, or crazy into classical, jazzer or hip-hoper. At our music school in Penang, we strive to create a better learning experience for all our students.
This though, does not mean everybody else who are not from our music school in Penang, cannot join. We welcome just anybody, from any size, age, or color; just make sure you have the willingness and passion to create music!
Well, what happens if you find yourself, worrying about your musical skills, and doubt if you could be up for our orchestra? Well, we will ask you to forget that fear. Here at the Cat Studio, we do not want musicians to look down/ through at each other. A learning and helping atmosphere for each other.. Members learn from members and compliment each other… That is what we’re talking about. And if you can’t learn and get enough? Our music courses at our music school in penang, are always open for you!
Our orchestra is currently fresh, and we’ve started as a string ensemble, up to now. This means, we have the violins, violas & cellos, playing in our 1st song. Very soon, we will be adding drums, brass, and woodwinds, probably some electronic instruments too. Currently for the time being opening the membership, FREE for any students, people, and really… just Anybody!
Finally, we look forward to see you in our orchestra. Do visit us and look around our centre, and ask any questions you will need to know. We ensure, every staff at the Cat Studio, music school in Penang, are friendly and would be resourceful packed, especially to serve you.

Hello, I accidently stumbled upon this blog whilst I’m searching on Google as I’m researching some material on electric cellos!. It’s an interesting site so I bookmarked this site and will revisit another day to allow more time for a more indepth read when I can give it more time.

Yes we play for all occasions. Using our music or to clients requests are fine with us!
