Viola – The Violin’s Bigger Brother

Looking exactly like a violin and requires the same techniques used to play the violin, the viola is slightly bigger than the violin and produces a lower mellow sound.

The viola is normally used as part of the string ensemble in an orchestra. Besides playing the viola as part of a group or ensemble, you can also play the viola as a solo instrument.
